I actually enjoyed the acoustic CD a lot. Nice listen when you want to wind down from Defeaters in your face nature.
I wouldn't say Defeater are in your face but I do enjoy the acoustic tracks and think they should do them a little more often.

Empty Days is really the pinnacle of their work. Not a single bad, bland or filler track on here. And the atmosphere and clean passages make Travels look almost childishly one-dimensional in comparison.
And Travels is fucking awesome.

There's definitely some semi-filler on here for me. I find Cemetery Walls to be pretty boring, and a couple other tracks lack some energy as well (not to mention the acoustic tracks). Travels is so freaking solid.
