OH, AND TO EVERYONE:

If you liked this Parades album, I also recommend the debut LP by Local Natives - Gorilla Manor.

Ha I think I get you. Not all music is as great as this. Well then, I'll look forward to your next review of an album that you will enjoy as much as this. That sounds fair enough.

Yes, I think you are on the right track cbd.

Good to hear SoapySoap.

Oh, "nothing" at all tom. It's not as if drums, percussion & multi-vocalist harmonies play an important role in either. I'm not saying they're identical, but it looks like we'll agree to disagree... again.

Davey I really don't think this album sounds much like Local Natives.

Local Natives are Fleet Foxes ripoffs.

I understand the folky influence of LN is not here... I never even said this album sounds much like it. I just reco'd it. I just think some of the things I liked about this album are also apparent on that album. See my previous comment for 3 of those things.

This album... This has been my wake up call. One listen and it's already the highlight of 2010.

I wouldn't say my recation was as immediate as that, but it quickly was that.

All those things you stated definitely play a significant role in both, but they're utilised very differently in accordance to their context. You're right though, people who enjoy this will probably like Gorilla Manor and vice versa.

We have found a middle ground Tom.

DavID is clearly getting a little tired & emotional after a week's worth of gigs every night.
