The bass harmonics on Lifting Shadows off a Dream are so badass.

Either this or I&W for my favourite Dream Theater record, tough decision.

Band hasn't put out a worthy record since Six Degrees, in my opinion.

I'd bump that up to Train of Thought. I used to hate it the most too.

The music itself feels a little bit uninspired on ToT.
That and the fact that LaBrie isn't at his best.

I think it's actually their most enthusiastic album. It only gets bad when they drag on in Endless Sacrifice and This Dying Soul. In the Name of God, Stream of Consiousness, and Honor Thy Father are all some of my fav DT tracks up along with all of Awake.

This album is their ''deepest'' and very hard to listen. Songs are great and lyrics superb, atmosphere on this one is something very special. Not so fluid and very ''all over the place.''
LaBrie is top notch here and this is his besst performance. ;)
