I mean there's a couple songs on his other stuff like that, but he was always more of a punch-line rapper on the Love Potions

I like Love Potion 5 better than this based just on the beats. the lyrics are just as clever/catchy too, it's just not quite as deep. you'll love it, trust me. 2 and 4 too fool

I've got 4 (love it), will get on 5 now. Probably my favourite lyricist when it comes to hip-hop.

listen to Take Me in My Sleep and Ashes to Ashley off Love Potion 4 and tell me that Feit, those are as gut-wrenching as anything on here. Plus, LP2 is all b-sides from this anyways, so the songs are just as emotional for the most part.
