This album is so good even the flaws in this are better than the flaws in other, worse music.

If you aren't striving for technicality then there are no flaws.

Since it's a record that doesn't strive for technicality itself then you can't really flaw it for that.

i was kinda kidding because everyone was concentrating on "flaws"... i try not to analyze it that much, it's amazing enough already.

if you arent striving for technicality then flaws are based entirely off of opinion which makes plenty of albums perfect

yeah wrong word. all i mean is, what about albums (like this one, among many) that have no really technical merit but are widely considered superb, if not classic. what makes them good if not their technicality, if you take CC's perspective as valid?

i mean technicality is the only thing that can be collectivelly proven to be good

well obviously, but when you say an album is 'good' - especially, but not exclusively, when you review it - you're not always saying that it's technically superb. in fact, i never have been.

no, what does well mean? well is just the adverbial form of good, lol. everyone can agree that what they're playing is DIFFICULT, yes, but that doesn't improve the quality of the recording at all.

if an indie classic is made in the middle of a forest with no one around to hear it, is it good?
