i'm going to revisit bssm because there's a good deal of it i can't remember, but this is way more mellow and enjoyable overall, for me.

This is way better than BSSM imho.

I'd say they're about tied for me, but if I had to pick a favorite I'd probably go for BSSM. But if we're considering the entire discography of theirs, my no.1 pick may just be Mother's Milk :]

I have to give a try to Mother's Milk. I've always been kind of skeptical to pre-BSSM Peppers

The first two are shaky but Uplift is great, and Mother's Milk is, again, probably my favorite Peppers album :]

Scar Tissue is one of me fave tunes of the last 15yrs but this album has always done nothing for me.
