Only 2 that I can't stand is Define The Great Line and Death Magnetic, which Guitar Hero fixed.
Only albums that I had to adjust for

Agreed on Death Magnetic, same problem as with with Messengers. And to bloc, yes, it's absolutely the treble that bugs me about that disc.
Deviant turned me on to the GH versions of Death Magnetic, which definitely corrected the problem. I never really noticed it with DTGL, but I haven't listened to that in awhile. I should probably pop it in seeing as how I'm seeing them with ABR on Sunday..

why? cause i'm going to see a badass show in a week? haha, man, i need an escape. I work like 50 hours a week trying to sell people on online grad school over the phone, it makes me borderline suicidal (um, not really... but you get the idea).

Yeah, I forgot to put the quote in. Haven't seen ABR live yet, seen Underoath and they're coming early next year. Disadvantages of being out this way

^word, you're in Australia right? I've yet to see either band, so I'm pretty pumped to say the least. Also, the venue's walking distance from my crib so I can get my drunk on.

Still prefer this to Messengers, but that breakdown in Backburner demands to be blasted.

The ending to that song is murder

gotcha, couldn't remember man, my bad. And yes, the ending to Backburner is quite possibly the heaviest breakdown ever written. I feel like destroying shit every time I hear it.

All good man.
Yeah we got Underoath next year, they're co headlining the annual christian music festival (Parachute).
Needless to say I probably won't be attending, and if I did getting my drunk on would be more than required

haha, sounds about right my friend. it's really kind of amazing how much (good) christian metalcore there is out there. ABR, Underoath, Zao, As I Lay Dying, i know i'm forgetting others...

Agreed, but this festival gets one good band (read christian metalcore) and the rest is average.
Acoustic campfire songs to be exact

ugh, i hate that stuff. i had religion (read, christianity) forced down my throat when i was younger so i typically avoid those types of festivals like the plague. i've heard ABR's been tearing it up on this tour, i'll let ya know how the show goes -- hopefully you can catch a show of theirs soon.

I'd be so keen to catch them.
Thing is living in NZ we go through mad slumps of not having anyone, then we just recently got Megadeth/Slayer (then I find out they're touring America with Testamnet!!!!), then my girl caught Pearl Jam on the weekend, then we get DT.
We'll have nothing for ages, then a whole bunch comes at once. Oh, and Faith No More are coming!

damn son! so basically you have to save all your cash for that one time of year when all the shows happen? that's brutal. I really, really, really hope FNM is coming to Chicago. I feel like I've heard that they are, but there's no way to be sure.. Metallica/Lamb of God didn't come here, but they were in Indianapolis?! wtf?! although Metallica was just here like 9 or 10 months before that, so I guess it's ok...

Yeah, pretty much! It sucks but that one time of the year is legendary, plus we've got big day out coming up.

Becoming the Archetype (first album), Beloved, Some Haste the Day, Living Sacrifice, Life In Your Way, Norma Jean, Oh, Sleeper, Once Nothing, The Showdown. I've seen Glass Casket in some Christian lists, but Idk about them.
Metallica did some shows here earlier this year, I think Testament might have also. Plus, it's Tesla's hometown, so we get a lot of shows from them.
