If I had 21 years old now, my rating of this would probably be 2 too. So I don't really bother when people hate this or not. Jesse Lacey at 31 still lives with his mother, alone, write about beds on fire and misses the ball on continuing to release consistent material by leaving Accardi writing most of Daisy songs.

Me and Adam we have the same age and I do acknowledge that both of us have made and will continue to do mistakes, yes. He went through shit and writes about it, in a more honest way than ever before in this record. At least to me, a man is more relatable than a Peter Pan godlike creature adored by their fans. I can't relate with that. I feel like foxxxy feels about all Brand New records, the difference is that I've always loved each and every single one of them until Daisy. But Jesse is in fact a great songwriter. Kind of immature, but a really good one. He's more of a man-child than Adam or me for that matter, and my guts tell me that's why he's still so relatable among teens, especially the introverted ones.

I don't usually write much. Just felt like it and thought that it'd be cool actually talk about the record. Since for the definition that qwe3 brought here, going off topic is something trolls do.

nolan definitely wrote a lot of TAYF, maybe they co-wrote a bunch...hard to find this stuff online...most sites just list them as co-lyricists

I think sex is overrated
So is always getting wasted
Designer drugs and dead end jobs and
Classic rock is so outdated
I’m so sick of therapy and all the things it’s done to me
How can I be satisfied when everything is overrated?

They've co-wrote, yes, but the largest chunk of the lyrics was Adam's, except There's No I In Team.

TBS can't play "A New American Classic", for example, because most of that song is Fred's. Adam is the guy with the cryptic lyrics, and yes, John is a tremendously skilled songwriter (my first username here was straylightrunner so maybe I am biased) but the largest chunk of TAYF lyrically is Adam's doing.

They've similarities though, if you notice, there's a extremely cool Straylight Run EP released almost at the same time as New Again. There's a song in it called "I'm Through With The Past". If you pay attention, they're talking about same things Adam touches on "New Again" and "Where My Mouth Is".

From someone that claims to have a major in both Psychology and Film, you have a really poor perception of people. Of course I don't have English as my first language, but yeah, let's insult people instead of talking about music. Isn't that why you're here? I could bet my life savings that I could write an essay about pretty much anything way better than you though, since my "poor" english skills seem to kick yours (to prove what I'm saying, see any of your poorly written, poorly punctuated reviews) any day of the week.

I honestly pity you though. I'm more present online these days because I've got to study, and I didn't said I'm a "formed lawyer", I've said that I just got a major in Law School. For someone that claims that your major in Psychology teaches you "how to tell who’s talking **** and who’s being honest", you're pretty clueless and full of shit, to be honest. Good luck perfecting that.

But yeah, give me a clever comeback. Gotta sleep.
