But NJ Legion Iced Tea is by far the best song on this album. Probably their best, to be honest.

I don't get why people like this album more than the first two. The pop aspect is downgraded with less emotion and IMO the band adds a bit to much cookie cutter structure on top of their old formula.
However, I still enjoy this album a lot. It's pretty much the loss of emotion in a lot of the pop that makes it a 3.5, but some of the heavy parts are surprisingly strong.

A few of the "metalcore" songs on this album suck major dick and are boring as hell. Every time I listen to this album it just gets worse and my hate for it grows.
And to the reviewer, John, half the songs don't even have sing a long choruses. The first two albums: sing along. This album: the choruses are depressing and are there as filler.

I think one of the reasons I actually like this a lot is 'cause I think of it as pop punk as opposed to metalcore.

Thinking of it that way does help. However, do you honestly like You Already Know What You Are, Welcome To The Family and Holdin' It Down For The Underground? While you can look at Homesick as pop-punk, their attempts at metalcore in this album are horrible. They used to be decent at the mix, but now that they have strayed away, while even include that shit? It seriously seems like they just put a few effortless "heavy" songs in to please older fans. It doesn't sound natural like it used to.

Their really bro-core "dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun" shit is really the bane of their success.
