The guy was hugely troubled, had a pretty rough early life and was always a bit strange in terms of his humour and songwriting.

Milk It is a perfect example of that.

Yeah, he was constantly bored, hated over half the songs they wrote, and hated SLTS. He was also extremely bi-polar too

I still can't believe some idiots still say Dave Grohl killed him, that's just outrageous

I thought he hated it because of how much popularity it got over the years...I mean after all who doesn't know of that song?

when all's said and done cobain was a cool guy. he had excellent taste and always seemed really humble and
willing to give full credit to his influences. wrote some great songs too, regardless of how bloated nevermind's
reputation is

Pixies' influence on Nirvana is definitely overstated, still not overrated though

"
Kurt Kobain was a little ungrateful bitch. "Boo hoo I dont want to be rich and famous so I'm going to blow my head off with a shot gun and leave my daughter without a father""

You're an asshole, but... I believe I (more or less) agree

Idk what problems he had an idgaf, but the fact that he kept complaining about his fame was always fucking stupid to me, any artist who does that really
If you don't want fame don't be a fucking musician

Now getting fame for something that you didn't intended to be how it turned out... I kinda understand that

Musically he wasn't the best, in my opinion. Lyrically, though, he wrote some pretty good songs

"the pixies influence on nirvana is overstated"

How? He said he ripped them off, several times

Hell his most famous song is a "failed attempt at writing a Pixies song"

i hear far more wipers influence (and a bunch of other bands) in nirvana's music than pixies but hardly anybody ever talks
about that

the reason pixies are constantly touted as the BLUEPRINT FOR NIRVANA is because cobain namechecked them as an influence
on his most famous song
