I'm actually liking what i've heard of this, which is surprising since I hate metal. Just a question, though, is this an album that works better as a whole piece than on a song-by-song basis?

Probably as a whole piece. It's part of the whole elemental aspect of the album, listening to it in its entirety allows the listener to absorb everything.

That said, I can't dig this as much as everyone else here.

this is one of those CD's that aside from the immense listening i gave it when it came out, still is just as good now, as the first time i got a song from it stuck in my head.



it is an extremely overwhelmingly satisfying album for me.

im still listening to it, and not getting tired of it one bit.



every time i get through it, i really just want it to start back all over again.



its that good, in my opinion.
