That's a shame, but they've got plenty of good albums. What songs did they play?

I wish I could see them live sometime.

Smoked a dubee and had a drink with Mikael Stanne, awesome dude.

I've seen DT 3 times and loved them. I even loved the songs they played from their newer albums (which suck ass).

Yeah it was a pretty sick show, but they didn't play any old stuff... Kinda sad too, since Stanne literally asked the crowd at what point what they wanted to hear and they all said in unison "PUNISH MY HEAVEEEEEEN!" I don't know why the band doesn't care enough to please their fans, but I guess they have enough amazing albums under their belt now for it to not matter anymore

They played 'Punish My Heaven' and 'Lethe' when I saw them in October.

Lucky you, I'd love to see those live, especially Punish My Heaven.

They had "Lethe" and "Punish My Heaven" on their setlist for a LONG time. Maybe they just wanted to change it up, especially since this is their second NA tour in a year.

'THAT'S RIUGHTTT!!! U WILL SUFFER MY PUNISHMENT!!1'

I don't think it gets any cheesier than that...

Melodic Death Metal is the stain on the Swedish death metal scene and The Gallery makes up a big part of that stain.

There are so many things wrong with this album... The melodramaticism, the sugary sweet melodies, and the atrocious vocals that would influence so many metalcore bands. There's nothing 'death metal' about this album; I've never heard it.

Let's not forget about those female guest vocals that first appear on the title track. Holy shit that was beyond weak. Female vocalists should stay out of death metal, whether doing a guest spot or wanting to front a band.

Wimpy, weak, gay. All those labels fit Dark Tranquillity's 'The Gallery.'

Avoid this album and band at all costs. Just awful songwriting.

If you want to hear an excellent album that gets labelled as 'melodeath', check Heartwork by Carcass.
