I didn't think their last album was that bad. It was fun, but just not good as far as a quality timeless album.

yeah it was a fun sing along, but it was a SING A LONG. I like the more emotionally/religiously intense and post-hardcore mewithoutyou, pretty folk melodies are not this band's strong suit. Even though I still have their new album at 3.5, it's just too cartoony and obnoxious to be anything more. BUt fuck the arrangements are fantastic. And @Prolapse, not only is that TFTCATC the best song on the album, it's undoubtedly top 5 MWY. another one of their lyrical opuses

when it comes to mwY, it doesn't matter what the musical direction is...as long as aaron weiss is in the band they will always rule. but that's even besides the fact that their new album is awesome.

nah their new album is them going in a less serious and more indie/folk direction. I like the post-hardcore MWY the most, and "Brother, Sister" is the perfect combination of awesome indie-esque arrangements and well-exectued post-hardcore. A to B Life is sooooo amazing

as for future albums,i met aaron at cornerstone this year and he said he doesn't know if mwY is going to be around much longer so don't get your hopes up.

I hope that they are around long enough for at least another album and a tour in the uk so i can see them live.
