I have several albums that I see as my favorites (it's hard to decide), and this is among those. My favorite Pink Floyd album, the music and the concept is amazing, and unlike any other.
I saw Roger Waters live with this album, as well - one of the greatest experiences of my life.

coming from a huge PF fan, this is easily PF's most overrated album imo.
There are definitely songs on here that I love, along with the general concept. But I think the second side starts to get extremely goofy and ridiculous. And there is a lot of filler. If they would have cut out some of the more goofy tracks, and cut this down to one cd, I would probably give it a 4.5. A lot of this material was cut out and later incorporated into The Final Cut too, so it would have been interesting to see how good it would have been if this had basically been the less goofy parts of the wall, and the better parts of the Final Cut too.
I just think the whole thing could have been resolved entirely without the Trial??? I hope I'm not alone on this.
