Another determining feature of a 1.5 - 2 is that you don't need to hear it in its entirety to know its a 1.5 - 2. In fact, if you were even capable of hearing it in its entirety chances are it was actually a 2.5

I have been wondering at 4 vs 4.2 specifically.

I feel like they're sort of self evident through the numbers. a 4.2 is a 4, which means excellent, except 20% better
