I think what makes this album so great on a deeper level is in its whimsical nature. Everything about this is so innovatively innocent and beautiful that it really does remind you to look at the world curiously as if you’re still a child again. The world sucks but it’s also so amazing and wonderful. We all have that childhood wisdom inside of us and I feel everyone takes life too seriously sometimes. Act like a kid again and do childish shit on your down time that makes you happy and don’t care what the fuck anyone else thinks! That ends my little rant haha it’s just what I’m starting to get out of this after +8 years of listening to this.

Yo has anyone actually watched Friday Night Lights? I’m in the middle of the first season now and it’s stunning.

I remember when sputnik had a huge hard on for this band, and their threads were being constantly bumped.

Sput does still I mean this has a 4.1-4.2 average that’s pretty damn high for a modern post rock band. Those are few and far between admittedly even though I fucking love the genre. People just don’t bump them as much.
As I said though, fucking watch that show. Impeccable acting, compelling emotional, and explosions heavily used music suits the show perfectly.

It’s on Hulu now. You wouldn’t think that a show about a small town in Texas centered around their celebrity like high football team and all their personal lives would be interesting but it’s awesome and often painfully realistic. Like Parenthood and This Is Us, which are the same network and some of the same creators. Explosions music is used very often.

Awesome, I'll have to check that out soon, along with the other two shows you mentioned. rrrrrrright after I finish Dawson's Creek, lol

I usually hate dramas like that but if it’s grounded in realism like those three shows in all for it. Friday Night Lights is pretty real as far as it’s depiction of middle America is.

I'm all about slice of life dramas

Yeah one of my favorite shows, one of the only ones I've watched that made me close to tearing up a few times. Start a War by The National is played in one episode I remember.

It was also used in Parenthood too. Coincidence? I think not haha

And brand new as well heh. Not a coincidence, parenthood was created by the same people basically, both producers and cast; I did not like it though, watched a few episodes and gave up

Aww you gotta give it a little. The characters all develop superbly and just like FNL and This Is Us it gets realistic to an almost painful level. Not many shows are willing to go there.
