@dino, this probably isnt the best album to try to get into post-rock with.
|

I really wish he didn't use the same line of gibberish in every song. If it wasn't for that this album would be much better.

used to be a 3.5, too beautiful tho. for some reason the effect it has on me is like a post-rock version of what american football does for me
|
| |
My first post-rock album. Too bad the 5 didn't last.

Agaetis Byrjun >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> anything else they did

I would agree with that

Eh.

I have only heard Agaetis Byrjun and ( ), and I think that Agaetis Byrjun is much better.
My biggest problem with ( ) is how repetitive the vocal lines he uses are. Almost every track on the album uses the same line and repeats it over and over again, and the times that he makes other sounds they still sound mostly the same with slight variations. "You sai la lo fai"
The music is good, but those vocal lines seem a little irritating. This was only my first listen, so I can't come to a conclusion yet. Right now my favorite tracks are 2, 5 and 6. The outro to the album was also very good.
