the common theme isn't so much of a parody of stardom but rather him struggling to maintain a centered mentality in the face of growing wealth and fame

i appreciate this but nothing is going to help me to actually enjoy the music

it's more of where im at with rap as a whole, i'm in a place where if it not pushing the envelope somehow it just bores the shit out of me. however that doesn't mean it won't grow, there's a reason i don't rate albums anymore. only been out for a min and ive only listened to it twice

I'm fuckin loving the last six tracks honestly, such a great run of songs, LOVE and LUST are the ones that are sticking with me most

re: the concept discussion on last page I think it's an exploration of ego and wealth specifically through the lens of the seven deadly sins, I kind of enjoy the way it skeeballs between loudmouth extroversion and self-pitying dark shit without any warning but the first half is still definitely very rocky in terms of quality

also if the second album theory is true I'll remake the humble video shot for shot using whatever's in my room at the time

"My left stroke just went viral

Right stroke put a baby in a spiral"

Damn is the left stroke. Damn is on the left side. "Nation" is the right stroke. "Nation" is on the right side.

Damn.Nation
