I don't agree that it's too strange, just a little strange.

Something just feels off about Burn the Witch. The mixing isn't right or something is wrong with the rhythm section or the strings are just cringey... I just can't put my finger on it. Ful Stop is much more effective.

Also, I never noticed the alphabetical tracklisting until yall mentioned it. What possible purpose could that serve?

I wouldn't say strange. Just different.

@Trophy: Trolling? Don't know. It's super annoying.

@Alex: replace strange with different, you get the idea.

They probably noticed that their fans go insane over any small detail in their albums and they added for no reason other than to see if the fans go "wHaT dOeS iT mEaN???'?" and start making theories about it. But nothing happened so I guess they're very disappointed.

the strings are way too static, and aside from the percussion sounding like fucking absolute shit they also lack any sort of subtlety or dynamism

How would you guys re-order the tracklisting without omitting any tracks?

"without omitting any tracks?"
... Well, that's the only thing I'd do. So I guess I wouldn't change anything.

Im not sure its possible to rearrange the album in any way where Burn the Witch makes any sense

If I could omit tracks:
- Daydreaming
- Glass Eyes
- True Love Waits
That's all.

Omitting tracks is lazy

I'd give it the same rating even if I changed the order so I see no reason to do that tbh.

I still stick by Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor Rich Man Poor Man Beggar Man Thief as my fave

it gets a bad rap because it comes between 3 tracks that are also super mellow

For the life of me I cannot remember what that track sounds like. But that's true for most of the second half of this.

Like it a lot too Moriendi. It sounds so great.

The more I think about this tracklist the more I dislike it. Yuck.

My track listing without omitting anything and including all the bonus songs is two pages ago.

I find their more high energy songs work much better live. Burn the witch and Bodysnatchers are my least favs on IR and this but when I saw those two live they were excellent, especially Bodysnatchers. It sounded like Queens of the Stone Age.
