I want to review the last Crosses but I don't think anyone will care. I can't believe it didn't get even one review... that is insane to me

Just too long between records. I get that it’s a side project but im not shocked that its not getting a ton of attention, which is kind of a shame because I think its better than the debut

The real question is why in the fuck haven’t we gotten more Team Sleep? I’ll even just settle for some live shows.

Chino thought Zach’s playing was outta the pocket.

I mean it's only been like a year... I get Crosses aren't as popular as even Team Sleep. But damn, I expected a bit more fanfare. Still slightly shocked at the lack of attention it got.

Spoiler alert... It's a pretty fucking sweet album

I would bet a lot of the new casual Deftones fans don't even know about Chino's side projects and those that do prefer him over guitar instead of synth. I enjoyed the new Crosses stuff too, but it maybe would have made a bigger splash if they released it all in one shot instead of spreading it out with the album, the EP and those random singles.

And TS is dead, unfortunately. Besides Chino's Deftones/Crosses commitments, their guitarist Todd is an English teacher now so he probably doesn't have time to write an album much less tour.

I feel like at this point 90% of Chino fans have been following him since the late 90s

New TS would be killer, but not hanging up any hope on it ever transpiring.

TS is done. I think there's an instrumental demo of a followup floating around but I don't think Chino is on it. Correct me if I'm wrong chat

I need Rosemary playing while I ever get married. It must be louder than the priest.

Most of us probably grew up on them as well. Teenage horniness multiplier effect and all.

Also they're just really unique and bloody good.

I honestly don’t understand how that’s even a question and they’re popular everywhere not just here.

and they’re waaaaaayyyy more popular now than they were even just five years ago. It’s fucking wild seeing them sell out arenas now, that kind of shit just doesn’t happen with a band that’s been around this long

Yes, but they were also huge before tiktok. It's not a kanye made Paul Mccartney famous situation

Yeah they’ve always been popular but I mean they were nowhere near this big. I drove to see them in Wichita on the Gore tour and they played a place called the Cotillion Ballroom. Their GA pits now are bigger than that entire place.
