i only finally figured out how to stop being sad all the time in the last year. started working out, made some big changes, and made an active effort to recognize and change the self-destructive patterns of my mind. for the first time in my adult life i feel like im all good, and not just because of some external factor which gives me a temporary sense of happiness. that was a part of it too, realizing that the "ill be happy when i get this or when i get to that" mentality was a part of the problem. its all about the now, baby. no dwelling in the past or the future.

butt.

"i never thought id say this, but yeah, i think this might be the best BN album."

I love it to pieces, but it's nowhere near as consistent. Every song on TDAG is better than Waste and No Control

That’s a really astute and enlightening observation. Agree 110%.

Agreed, it’s like a strange mix of euphoric yet really uncomfortable at the same time and works really nicely.

The solo is awesome too.

And just the best BN song period imo. At least without hesitation the best on this album.

It's taken me to warm up to that solo because it feels so out of touch with the rest of the song but I think I'm finally in love with it

I like the way it lifts the song up, feels appropriately upbeat compared to the rest of it. That song is just a notch off the top grade for this album but a strong strong keeper regardless

This album (while generally great) has so many individual annoying moments out of which idk how In the Water came out on top
