his messiness worked better when their music was messy. when they started making albums like The Black Parade his voice stuck out like a sore thumb.
but i still love this album because:
1.) it is very well constructed and organized
2.) catchy as all hell
3.) i was an emo college freshman when this came out and it "spoke to me"
