I guess my problem is that, aside from the lyrical content, nothing on this album seems necessarily innovative (aside from Venus in Furs and Heroin). Perhaps if it came out before Revolver yeah, but aside from those two songs this just sounds like a good mix of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
