I don't agree that this lacks anything. I think it's both their strongest record and their most consistent through and through...didn't leave me wanting. I hope it isn't, but this could be their final record and I'd feel like they fulfilled their destiny at a band.

i mean thats their whole deal tho isnt it, changing the script dramatically with each release. definitely not expecting the follow up to pick up exactly where this leaves off, probably for the better
