I used to like Radiant best for a while.

Then I pulled my head out of my ass.

Everybody should listen to this guy. He knows what he's talking about ;d

Vocals suck. They're uninventive, and over-wrought with rasp (i.e, trying too hard :P). Just because

some of you like them doesn't mean they're good. For instance: I like Alcohol and Drugs, but

I'm not afraid to admit that it's crap.

yeah but who gives a fuck if it's "good" when it's enjoyable and suits the music

besides good is subjective, and besides that he hits all the notes he aims to hit and with ease - that to me doesn't really make him a bad singer

also it's a damn human voice, why does it have to be "inventive"?

its like, this isn't bad in any way, but why would i listen to this when i could be listening to neurosis instead? (who, for the record, have infinitely better vocals than isis.)

^Maybe 'Oceanic', but 'Wavering Radiant'...no. It's good and all, but this is superior.

yea Wavering was better than In Absense, but no where near Panopticon.

Did they ever release that last ep?

Nah. Wavering doesn't drag in the 2nd half, unlike this.

I just listened to this and it's ridiculously good. Are the other albums worth my time though, I feel like as soon as I like one album from a band, the rest don't live up to it.
