While Écailles… starts like a good Sigur Rós album, this one scared me with resembling a bad one; the chorus of Komorebi is close to being awful. But after the opener it got much better, and I’m happy that the vocals turned from angelic to badass soon. Too grandiose for my taste overall, but has its moments, Améthyste and L’Enfant are cool.

I like it...I'm just not loving it. Agree with gabba that Komorebi is not a great way to start the album off. Things definitely pick up from there, but I keep getting a nagging feeling that there's not quite enough contrast. It's maybe a little too pretty & sunny.
