This is so mediocre, embarrassingly so. Its not straight up bad, but it would have been better off that way tbh. She's capable of soooo much more

I will say these songs translated better live, but when you're Janelle Monae the bars high and its hard to not be disappointed

I can understand if someone likes this, the way the album is set up is actually very intriguing. Sucks though that personally I hate this musical direction especially when compared to the stuff I really liked before.
