For Miles is one of the best songs in the genre, ever imo

Dan Ozzi's book Sellout covers it in depth. i havent read it but i remember the time from the perspective of a fan of a few bands that got screwed.

^I'm going to use that now.
Chinese Organ Thieves is a hell of a song and yeah that outro is always what I remembered about it. I saw Finch in 2013 for their WIITB tour and Worms of the Earth went fucking hard at the end of the set.
My understanding of the band's history is that Nate left 3 times and they were all due to disagreements in the direction of the sound they should take. Even though this isn't my favorite release I wish they would've kept pushing it further because they had so much potential for a couple more incredible albums.
Also, the beginning of Psilocybin has always made me think of Street Fighter or Tekken.

That melodic bridge in Reduced to Teeth is so good.

This album is just an all time classic imo, I’ve listened to it so many times over the past 15 years that you’d think the novelty would wear off, but nah the songwriting and performances in nearly every second are just so engaging
Maybe that’s my adhd brain speaking for me, but I can’t deny that few albums have ever been THIS engaging from beginning to end for me. And that’s not even mentioning the top tier phx all-time level performance from Nate…. This album is a gift that keeps on giving even with many repeated listens

You just hit the nail on the head bruh. This is pretty much my favorite post-hardcore album of all time. Every single time I play it, it still feels fresh. I'll always have love for it no matter how many times I hear it.

Nate has some of the gnarliest harsh vocals in the genre, ever imo. Ful stop.
The combo of his incredible harsh and clean vocals, along with the songwriting ability make him one of the best talents the post hardcore genre has even had. I think there’s an argument for him being the “best” frontman in the genre, with the only knock being the short discography

How did this album seem so strange back in 2005 yet now when I listen it's extremely catchy and dynamic? Got it on yellow vinyl and much prefer it to WIITB.

I've always thought WWITB was ten tons of fucking cringe. I remember hearing this on release and thinking there's no fucking way this is the same band.
