"your mom is just OK"

She's dead and that's better than this album.

'I don't hear any Daughters in that song whatsoever' (2)

which era are we talking here? Me neither.

although I couldn't get into YWAGWYW, so maybe my memory of that one is hazy. I'm more familiar with their earlier works and definitely don't hear the likeness, from memory.

To be clear I will not be revisiting it (now) to verify anything.

@alex all tallied up and broken down into categories of "they sound like _", "they dont sound like _", and comparisons independent to quality which imo almost feels a lil too binary but it doesnt seem like nuance is the point of such an idea anyway and such reductions make some of these comparisons way funnier

if i post this shit y'all gotta promise to stop w these comparisons (even tho i know i could never stop the unstoppable tide of etid debates from happening again in a few pages lmao)

Relistening to Foreign Anchor and yeeeeah now that you guys mention it that riff has Daughters written all over it. Stuff like that flies over my head tho because these guys are actually really unique.

Don’t know if this has been said yet, but that riff at the end of Foreign Anchor sounds so much like a Daughters riff
