I kinda have the bad feeling that this will change as soon as she will turn 18 and hop on the "LOOK AT HOW SEXY I AM"-pop star train. We'll see if all this oversized clothing is just to prevent her from being sexualized while being underaged or if she really means it. I hope for the latter.

@Alexis, they both fit the minimalistic alternate pop category, but Lorde brings so much nuance and emotion to her material, especially her last album. That’s not to say Billie doesn’t add nuance and emotion to her material, but the similarities and differences between both of them are a bit noticeable.
TL;DR: Both are great and you really should give Lorde another chance
