Fandingbat’s review was a breath of fresh air. I just only wish he had freed himself from the possible ridicule he’d have faced from giving it the score he wanted to. A 6-7 is good, don’t get me wrong, but his analysis definitely sounded more than that, imo. But eh you can’t be taken seriously if you like BMTH these days. But There Is a Hell is likely in my top 50 albums of the decade list so far, honestly

Like I’ve said already on some of these threads (idk which but) it all comes down to execution. I can’t fucking tolerate TOP or most of 1975’s stuff (chocolate is a banging tune tho don’t @ me) and yet this bangs. All bout dat execution. Same reasoning is applied to why Carly Rae Jepsen fucking slaps and most sugary female pop acts are fucking trash
