T2L and a thousand suns both run on overheated bombast in service of furtive Themes And Commentary but they both also have the decency to not try and outsmart the listener and are therefore better than this

@Johnny exactly. Suburbs was their breakthrough commercially. And they're retreating away from their space disco alt dance bullshit back into 2010s heartland land.

But after you soundtrack a Disney movie, you can't go back.
