Davey needs to stop doing that rising intonation at the end of lines when he's singing live though. AFI needs to have an intervention for him.

Burials > Missing Man

Missing Man is decent but Burials was a more interestibg dive into a slightly darker and more atmospheric sound for them.

burials has a better sound but missing man being only 5 songs helps make it way way more consistent

Burials is like their worst album and this is their best, up there with StS and Black Sails

i think i gave Burials a 4. great album but the production and lack of riffs drag it down a bit. also i kind of can't stand I Hope You Suffer

Burials is their best full-length since Sing the Sorrow. This doesn't even touch the top 4 albums in the band's discography. Like, not even close.

The intro/build up to I Hope...is so much better. That's definitely the song I skip the most on Burials. Rest of the album I don't have much qualms with.

Thinking that this and Crash Love are better than Burials is an awful opinion.

If you think Pop Rock trash is better than dark slightly Post-Punk influenced stuff then sure.

I recall Davey saying in an interview he felt Crash Love was their most timeless record. I laughed at the time, but it's aged a lot better than I expected it would.

Anxious and Pink Eyes have 2 of their best choruses. more poppy choruses with an edge please.

Nah their best chorus is either Killing Lights or Beautiful Thieves

Pink Eyes chorus is fucking fire, agreed. I Hope You Suffer is better live, but it irks me that Davey wades into the crowd during that song like he used to for God Called In Sick Today.

Best chorus by AFI, hmm.... probably Paper Airplanes.

i didn't say those were their best, definitely top...20 which is still huge.

ummm best AFI chorus for me is probably This Celluloid Dream...maybe Okay I Feel Better Now depending on my mood but those are my 2 favorite AFI tracks lol. Break Angels and Back Into The Sun are getting up there. Malleus of course. The Interview has a big one. I'd be dumb to not mention Girl's Not Grey. Veronica Sawyer is an ear worm. Paper Airplanes' chorus is epic. 37mm is fun. always loved Carcinogen Crush's. how could I almost forget A Story At Three....

alright I'm done lol, best band ever
