Yeah after much internal deliberation. This is my favorite album of all time. The music, vocals, and especially the lyrics hit so damn hard for me. So many memories and emotions locked up in this record that it has to be my favorite. Honestly never thought anything would dethrone mwY B/S, but here we are. Such raw and gut wrenching emotion.

A very worthy pick honestly, this is a transcendent album

I kind of put it like this: B/S is the album I listen to when I feel at peace with the tension in my own brain, this is the album I need to drain the sewage from my soul. There's just something raw and personal about it, and I have all these emotions and memories tied up in it. No album has ever connected with me like this one has.

I feel that way about both her albums honestly

I haven't listened to TOTL for a while. I need to though. I do know the one thing that's lost on that album is the more intimate and raw feel that SA has. I still love it though. I just feel that this album was made because she had to get all this out and wasn't thinking about an audience. TOTL was written knowing that there were fans expecting something. That's not a bad thing by any means, just a difference that I noticed.

TOTL really speaks to me, this album is rock bottom and then TOTL is like "Okay, I'm SUPPOSED to be happy, I should be, but I'm really not" and yeah that's just super relatable for me lol

Yeah the closer on that album is easily her greatest song
|

Oh for sure! TOTL probably relates to me more where I am now in life, but this is just more raw to me. Like I said this album will always be a bit above TOTL because of the history associated with it. Both are masterpieces regardless. I hope we get some new music soon. She's been on a 2 year cycle so far so I guess we will see if that continues.

Wouldn’t argue with that Dan.

Yeah Hawks, this album just connects in a way no other album has. She’s released two perfect albums so far. I’m excited but also hesitant for any new album she might put out. I feel the magic can’t last forever

I like this a lot more than TOTL but that one is fantastic too.

They’re both perfect imo, but I like this one more. I like how raw and visceral the lyrics are combined with the stripped down sound.

the last 90 or so seconds of "go home" is one of the most entrancing things i've ever heard
