their vocals were worse on decay, amazing in older albums. i think albini is ruining them now whereas prior some of the stuff they did with him was FIRE

Ahh thanks Core for not blasting me. I have tried all their albums - I can't remember which one I like best. Lemme check my ratings - I have them on another site...I have Given To the Rising as my highest rated. I haven't listen in so long, lol

tkelly and von till are great metal vocalists imo, but on the recent records, a combo of them getting older, the production and the actual vocal melodies make them sound a lottt more grating whereas they used to match the music perfectly

vox still match the music though. and it's not like they've ever actually been very melodic when it comes to vocals. actually this might be their most melodic.
