i think jams are the least appealing aspect of this lol. like idk catchiness or grooviness are one of the sparsest and most unrewarding aspects of this, if anything its the emotion behind it that made me really connect to it at first

but it grooves hard but isn't in your face about it. there are some really catchy melodies like at the end of Self Control, Nikes, all of Nights, Solo, etc. and yeah it's pretty damn emotional which makes it even better

Except some very few high points (Especially Pink+White, which is amazing) there seems to be no focus on this, even when there is a clear direction and general tone, it's all too scatterbrained, no structure. They feel more like a collection of ideas than a real RnB album.
No song on this except the aforementioned P+W feels solid enough on its own, they just seem to fall apart and end, and I get that to some that may be a good thing, like it's "experimental" and "loose", but for me it's just lazy songwriting.
There are also some production decisions that don't sit well with me at all.
