First few tracks are great, brutal and in your face. And then everything begins to blur by the time 'Life is a Death Sentence' rolls up and just becomes background noise. Before you know it, you're checking how much longer is left on the album and you realize you're just wrapping up 'They Come Crawling Back'.
Would probably be great live, but from a technical standpoint, it's not interesting enough to keep me coming back.

This sounds nothing like Green Day.
Also "First few tracks are great, brutal and in your face. And then everything begins to blur by the time 'Life is a Death Sentence' rolls up and just becomes background noise. "

yeah its weakkkk

Title is dumb and singer is a human meme but this isn't bad. The "cool to hate this band" train is so dumb
|
| |
This is the first I've listened to them, so I'm not really on any train here. It's just "meh", but I did really dig it for the first few minutes.

i mean their decent, unsilent death was very good and the 2013 album is solid, this was weak tho

it's just too samey to the last one and the production isn't great and doesn't help set it apart at all, which is something oddly plaguing popular grind this year. Rotten Sound, Magrudergrind, and Wormrot have all had wonky production, too.

Dont forget about Trap Them if you count them

rules sorry

I'm literally "into hc/pv" and still like this band. Yeah this is their weakest but this band has always been their most memorable when they're playing sludgy fight riffs and this album has them too so stop trying to look cool and just enjoy it for what it is haha

" Rotten Sound, Magrudergrind, and Wormrot have all had wonky production, too."
yeah its been really frustrating. totally agree with this.
"don't forget trap them"
i'd say yes to blissfucker but the new one sounds like darker handcraft pt. 2 and i'm all about it.

new trap them was weak
new rotten sound was weak
new wormrot rules but the production is a letdown agreed. y bands be doing this

yeah their new one's been much better received than the last one. But from what I'd heard the production wasn't that bad so I wouldn't list them with the other bands.
And the problem with most pv is that the production is junk, whereas these guys figured out that if you just use better quality and buzzsaw pedals pv is actually listenable by the non-trve hxcx masses.
