Damn okay well I've never seen a live vid of him or heard this album, was just a strong impression I got from his s/t and Overblown
|
| |
Ok fair enough. I think he is growing more production oriented than he used to be tho, overgrown I would agree with much more. Self titled I don't agree with at all tho
|
| |
This one also definitely far less so than overgrown
|
| |
S/t is his best singer/songwriter work too.
|
| |
Yeah
|
| |
Sounds like maybe I need to revisit the s/t
|
| |
I would agree

Album Rating: 3.5
But that's his weakest
|
| |
nah it is his most consistently great album
|
| |
I like this and Overgrown more, they are more r&b/neo-soul/pop-leaning, i think it suits his voice more, cause when he did his singing style over the more ethereal glitchy downbeat electronics on the s/t he got boring occasionally. I still like the s/t a lot, but just a .5 less than the newer two.

Album Rating: 5.0

Album Rating: 4.5

|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
this is easily his fullest sound/he said this is the most open he's been in terms of production.

| |
Album Rating: 5.0
Overgrown: 8/6
S/t: 17/18
|
| |
17/18 makes the s/t weaker than The Colour in Anything.
You didn't think those through.
|
| |
Yeah u fucked up ur math tyler
