honestly on first listen Diamond Eyes sounded like the bones of an album rather than an actual final product. sounds like an unfinished mock-up that they rushed out and then just sent it off to get over-produced

dont blame you there. yeah, honestly i like This Place is Death quite a bit, but most of their closers are really underwhelming. and i totally get what youre saying with snw just being chill as fuck, but i think this album is really chill too and not trying to be edgy at all. idk, still forming a solid opinion on this one. also, cherry waves isnt quite top 5 tones for me but its damn close.
