michigan, illinois and adz all sound a little too overblown to me. i prefer when he's more modest with his music

Age of Adz has a lot of random stuff going on in certain tracks that feel like theyre included for the sake of being there. Still a great album.

This is my first Sufjan album, and I have to say its really good despite getting a little boring half way through.
