I love when you can build up an intense personal collection with an album - it happens less often for me these days at the rate that I listen to new stuff, unfortunately. Sometimes I miss the days when a few new albums a month was all I needed.

In all honesty, the vast majority of my 5's are because I've been able to build up a personal meaning for each one, whether it be work, train journeys to see my better half, or just sitting in a room when everything seems perfect. I think it's an important distinction between the 4.5 and the 5.

I mean this isn't shoegaze like at all. The last few minutes of Under the Pressure are a bit shoegaze I guess but that's about it. Maybe their other albums are more shoegaze-y?
