Probably one of my favorite death metal bands. I was never into death metal until I found Gorguts, then I started looking for other bands that did weird, cool stuff with the genre.

I've checked them out and they seem like the exact kind of thing I'd like, but something about them didn't click for me. I'll probably try again soon. I've really been enjoying the latest Morbus Chron album though.

New Morbus Chron was definitely amazing. Maybe Execration (NOR) or Obliteration might be worth it. I can say Baring Teeth is just a good Gorguts worship band but nothing much past that.

I really like the latest Obliteration but I haven't checked out anything else they've done yet. I'll look into Execration. You description of Baring Teeth is pretty much how I felt, I guess they just lack substance compared to Gorguts.
