I meant mainly that they are both pretty much split personality concept albums and that this one captures the split better than XXX. And the musical production here finds a way to take the genre influences of the XXX and give them sharper, more defined edges. His genre mashups make more sense here, I guess. It's difficult to put into words.

yeah i don't have any problem with the production on this, his verses are just not as brilliant here as i know he is capable of.

i prefer pretty much all of Danny Brown's features verses than the tracks on here, aside from maybe the one with Flatbush Zombies, eek
the huzzah remix, eXquire, heems and El-P verses are some of his best

I don't know. I think his lyrics are grade A through this whole album. I even think he steps up his flow here. I guess I can see why some people would prefer XXX, but you guys are talking like he's already on the downhill slope, which I don't see at all.
