What about In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country? None of the tracks on that EP are on any other release, and they're some of the best BoC has made.


i mentioned that. said its still got nothing on any of the lps so i never listen to it

i feel like it's slow and cold and static and not in a good way. it sounds like they were going for this cold, minimalistic approach and the album is pretty dark but their older stuff is way darker, catchier, more interesting. this feels like an album of b-sides. certain songs like palace posy completely remove me from whatever atmosphere the album builds. the flow is awkward as hell

Love this almost as much as all their albums but it's like Geogaddi with no acid induced humans
dreaming on its earth, can get why someone could be dissapointed by the odd emptiness in this record.
no seeping evil just unhuman neutralness and I personally prefer the first
