I'm happy people can appreciate it and honestly jealous because I have no doubt that the albums are great if you can get past it but I also think you're all crazy because it's nails+chalkboard for me. Their discography from this album forward has been so strong and I'm a big fan of that direction in sound anyway so I don't sweat it too much, still tons of Katatonia that I do enjoy.
