Atlas seems like it would be a title track tbf, so I can see where you were coming from, like, if it was called "The Migration" no one would fret an eye at all, guaranteed LOL

the StS hate train comes yet again whenever theres a new album from here on, good band, I think the last amazing album will be V though unfortunately, it seems like the spark is gone for the most part

new song... eh same problem with this one as last one, too many things competing for the spotlight, thankfully instrumental version of the album seeming to be released along with vocal version, I think I will be listening to the instrumental versions more

every song since V has the same problem: too much going on at all times, and it's because Chris can't sit the fuck down every once in awhile

This is just head and shoulders above any of his recent output, Chris needs to do some soul searching before he makes a new album

It's this one and Carving Desert Canyons for me
|
| |
Album Rating: 5.0
I like Canyons and a V a fair amount but neither are nearly as memorable as this and Collective are. There's so many tracks that I usually gotta play at least twice when they come on from both albums
Their first album is decent but everything after V was such a huge drop off. Although, I just saw there is an instrumental version of Subjects so I dunno, that may be worth checking out

The Instrumental version of Subjects sucks nearly as much as the vocal version. The engaging songwriting just isn't there anymore like it used to be in his earlier albums.
