I LOVED the Beatles and Paul Simon when I was like 6 years old. I still remember listening to You can Call Me Al almost every night when I went to sleep. The Beatles were practically the first real rock band I listened to.

I hit the big 2-oh a long time ago and I still don't like The Beatles or Paul Simon. Saying that you have to dismiss your childhood music when you 'mature' is a myth. I still love Blink 182 and Green Day... You can expand your tastes while retaining your old loves... And expansion doesn't have to mean the fucking 'classics'.

Never said I dismissed my childhood music. Well, at least not all of it. I still love the Beatles and Paul Simon (granted I haven't listened to either in a while) but there are some artists I liked when I was younger where I question myself as to why I liked them in the first place.

It is a bit lengthy, agreed. But disagree on the "dull" part, I think it keeps me interested all the way through

I love lengthy albums, that way, there's more music to listen to. But this is in no way dull.
