Only problem with And Your Bird Can Sing is that it's too short. Song rules.

how to maintain my serenity when I see memes of people shitting on the beatles thinking they are cool and subversive, when they probably just heard Let It Be or Yesterday

Yellow Submarine is the one and only song I hear detractors use to defend their dogshit opinions on The Beatles, actually lol

I'm here to ask an ignorant question. Flame away, if you must. I am listening to the remastered (2009) version of this album on spotify and the uhhh production choices for Eleanor Rigby are lame. What's the best version of the song and where would I find it? And, please, don't confuse this for me asking for covers lol.

Go mono [2]

Good idea, tbh. That was the main problem.

Ur right that the production of Eleanor is a bit weird... it’s like the first couple syllables of each line are stereo and then it’s just mono in one headphone...

I hate it, tbh. But, I'm a goober and most of the time I spent listening to the Beatles was from the LOVE compilation.

Honestly I kind of like the stereo mix, all the instruments and vocals are loud and clear even if it sounds weird on headphones

It helps that it’s like the best song ever

I dunno man, I've never been a massive fan. Not saying it's bad by any stretch of the imagination, just that I wouldn't have it anywhere near my top Beatles tracks.

It has always been a favorite of mine, that's why I was annoyed listening to this version. It's so lush on Love.

that or “Here, There and Everywhere” is my fav Revolver track

Anybody interested in Beatles mono (like you should for everything before the white album imo) if you haven't heard of it know that Dr Ebbetts was a label that sold bootlegs, basically selected the pressings they considered best-sounding and ripped them as clean as they could and sold them on CD for convenience. I'm sure you can hunt them down in a way or the other
