I don't hear it, the auto-tune doesn't help either. It just sounds like a robot trying to have phone sex with me.

but the auto-tune is a part of why it's so great. I mean he's proven time and time again he can sing without its aid (a lot of live shows and songs where it's seriously toned down) but it sets almost this cold, somber, wintery atmosphere.

That's the music's job, if he really wants to create a chilling atmosphere with his voice, he should lower it to whisper. Either that, or we should hear some tremble in his voice. He doesn't deliver either, and his voice just comes off sounding like.... a machine. (I feel i'm using robot a bit too much)

That being said, he has the capability to create the sort of atmosphere you're clamoring about with the beat alone. He has the talent for that at least.

I took a night off for this. I could've been getting laid. Robot phone sex isn't working for me.

Uggh I love A Night Off so much. I just wish I liked Lloyd's solo work as much.

Overrated rapper and wannabe r&b artist. With the amount of hype this album was getting and the amount of people I heard blasting it in their car I was expecting some spectacular.

Honestly Shot For Me is probably one of my least favorite Drake songs ever.

and @oath: lol how's he a "wannabe" R&B artist? He's pretty damn well established as one. But you rated Lupe's last mixtape a 4 which baffles me. u r silly.

It seems like any black artist who sings(lets be honest, Drake doesn't sing he harmonizes) is considered an r&b artist. Drake's a hip-pop musician. Nothing more and it's almost insulting to real r&b artist to categorize him as an r&b artist.

And I rated Lupe's last mixtape a 4 because he was being bold with his production and unlike Drake, Lupe's still a superb and insightful lyricists and good flow.
