You disappoint me, Rowan. I had such fuckin' hopes for us.

Just wait for Outro dude ;]

And make sure to check out Dead Cities... as well.

there's some great tracks on here but as a whole it feels a lil too cheesy for this worn soul

Only other record I've heard is Saturdays = Youth which is basically an inferior version of this. Couleurs is one of his best jams though.

Staying up past 1030 #thuglyf#fuckthapolice

The cheese is the heart of this record personally.

Yeah so so far if this were any more saccharine I'd be worried about the health of my teeth when I listened to it, and the spoken word sections are not good
digging it though

I dunno man, read this review. Klap puts it so much more eloquently than I ever could.

I read the review of course klap is god
but the part that rings true the most is " The 22-song length is intimidating, and Gonzalez never gives you a chance to catch your breath – pop anthem after pop anthem is the order of the day here, massive multi-tracked walls of sound and spacey synths that stretch on into fields of reverb."

Also is it bad if Midnight City is my least favourite so far

Midnight City is the catchiest song ever, so yeah a little

"By stripping away the concerns of adults, of age and background and history, it becomes primal and universal: love and hope. Has there ever been a better argument for music?"
